Cracow's heart

The Main Square in Cracow is considered one of the largest and most beautiful town squares in Europe. It’s a scene of many historical events, the symbols of which are: St. Mary's Basilica (known as Kościół Mariacki), the Renaissance Cloth Hall (known as Sukiennice), Adam Mickiewicz Monument, the Church of St. Wojciech, florists and pigeons.

Every year, the Main Square in Cracow is a place where a variety of events take place: yearly student carnival, Lajkonik Festival, exhibition of nativity scenes and many more. Additionally, regular concerts, artistic performances  and flea markets are held in this exceptional square.
